Cities of the future Conference 2011 has focus on water and urban planning

Cities of the Future is a leading programme of the International Water Association (IWA). For the 2011 conference the theme is sustainable urban planning and water management. 

Water is a key element in urban planning and design. Water is essential to create livable neighborhoods and public spaces. At the conference the focus will be on deepening the interaction between water professionals and urban planners. it is one of the first events to have this new and innovative focus. The latest developments in urban planning and design with water as a key element will be presented.
