This book reports about the efforts of an international group of experts, to promote MILU: Multifunctional Intensive Land Use in cities and regions. The aim of MILU is combining land uses in time and space in order to optimise the experienced quality of the built environment.
MILU aims to contribute to sustainable development through improving the social ecology of places while minimising their ecological footprints.
