Urban.nl researches the possibilities of turning this idea into a project proposal en selects possible project partners.

Rationale: 

Urban.nl and Erfgoed Delft (responsible for historic heritage and museum collections in the city of Delft) have developed an idea pro an Interreg project aimed at making the historic common fortunes of port towns at the Canal Coast more common knowledge. The vicissitudes of sea heroes and pirates in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, brought about shifts of power en led to social and economic developments that still unite the Canal coast areas.
Means that can be developed:
Manifestations, mobile exhibition pavilions, ITC information tools and historic trails that contribute to making this shared history visible.
