He did this in projects at the Dutch National Planning Agency and for the Province of South-Holland, also at Alterrra (Wageningen\u2019s University Advisory Agency) and as project coordinator Metropolitan Agriculture at Transforum, Dutch Innovation Network for Horticulture and Agriculture.<br \/>\nAt Urban.nl Marco worked for Eurostat on environmental statistics and he co-developed the Agropolis concept for innovative urban agriculture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green spaces: multifunctional, ecologically sound and productive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marco represents a new generation of \u201ceco planners\u201d. He is environmentally conscious and knows how to find the right experts and engage them to develop new inspiring perspectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Civic engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marco is member of the board of \u201c070.Energiek\u201d, cooperation for sustainable energy in his hometown The Hague.
